The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.# J v& A2 X3 g

Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials# A3 A0 F4 o2 D1 l1 y, c3 f: z6 f
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
; V; P3 n6 f* kLoads and unloads non-ferrous material' P m" U9 ^3 I, g/ L; l
Must be able to work safely at all times+ i- Z& d z \ f
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently
5 ]+ ^( s3 b+ D, t6 r# MPerforms routine housekeeping.
) d$ ~- z: h# m' h0 d5 Y" B3 ]8 v3 xObserves and reports any safety issues

Knowledge of non-ferrous processing

Well-articulated and assertive

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
