大雪飘落， QE2号公路Ponoka 和Didsbury直接发生8次车祸，其中一起受伤严重。
据小道消息，爱城美雪将继续飘落24小时。

爱城公交和地铁将大面积出现28-60分钟延误，请大家穿厚点，带点吃的喝的和睡袋，防止更长时间延误。

预计明天晚上积雪厚度将达到10—20 厘米，超过20厘米也是有可能的。明天温度大概 -12°C，强烈建议多喝鸡汤和九宝粥获取热量。
前往机场的朋友注意了，晚点去可以，大不了赶不上飞机，但是路上一定要慢点开，紧握方向盘，安全第一！

RCMP in central Alberta are warning about treacherous road conditions, while snow blankets Edmonton causing major delays for transit users.
Late Monday afternoon, Ponoka RCMP issued a travel and tow ban for Queen Elizabeth II highway between Highway 11A near Red Deer and Highway 611 near Ponoka. The QEII was completely closed near Blackfalds.
By mid-Monday afternoon, Mounties reported that officers had already responded to eight collisions on the QE II between Ponoka and Didsbury. At least one collision resulted in a serious injury.
Edmonton is being covered with snow that is expected to continue falling for at least another 24 hours.
ETS issued an advisory on social media on Monday evening, warning after-work commuters of a 30 to 45 minute city-wide delay for buses. The transit authority said LRT and regional bus service are also experiencing minor delays.
A snowfall warning for the region encompasses Edmonton, St. Albert and Sherwood Park. Environment Canada says the capital region can expect 10 to 20 centimetres of snow by late Tuesday, with the temperature falling to -12 C.
In central Alberta, there are also several snowfall warnings in effect. The warnings cover Drayton Valley, Hinton, Leduc, Lloydminster, Spruce Grove, Red Deer, Rocky Mountain House and Whitecourt, among other locations. Environment Canada says those areas will receive long periods of snowfall with 10 to 30 cm accumulating in some areas by late Tuesday.
Snowfall warnings are issued when 10 cm or more of snow is expected to fall within 12 hours.
Travellers headed to the airport are being advised to leave early in order to arrive safely with plenty of time, Edmonton International Airport spokeswoman Heather Hamilton said.
