埃德蒙顿2015年1月5日消息：根据埃德蒙顿MLS系统的数据统计，爱城人口普查区2014的房产销售总量比2013年上升了11%，比预期高出不少。销售量升高体现在所有类型的房产，其中独立房销售量上涨了9.8%，公寓的销售量增长了超过11%的，而Duplex/Rowhouse则增长了25.4%。 2013年的销售量总计17,077套，而2014年为18,911套。

“2014年是房产经纪非常繁忙的一年。埃德蒙顿以及周边地区的房价和成交量都有大幅度的上涨。 不像2007年，我们并没有看到突如其来的暴涨的价格，但是在2014年3月，我们打破了独立房均价的历史记录。” 埃德蒙顿房地产经纪协会主席Greg Steele说。“越来越多新建的价格实惠的公寓和多户的房型，加上历史性的低贷款利率，鼓励了大量的买家入市购买房屋。还有大量人迁入爱城，以及租赁房市场的紧张，这些因素都是导致了2014年房市比较活跃。”

每年由于季节性的因素，在12月份，价格和销售数量比11月有所下降，但是仍比去年同期要高。独立房的平均价格由11月的$444,312，下降了3.3%，为$429,470. 公寓的价格下降了3.4%，为$247,099. Duplex/Rowhouse 则上升了一点点为$355,978. 在12月份，所有住宅的成交量为770套，与2013年接近，并且比11月下降了接近38%。
