All depends on your budget.  If money isn't an issue, choose BMW(Big Money Wasted) X5. Then Acura MDX, Then Subaru, the last will be Mercedes Benz.

If money is an issue, and you want money worth its value, Lexus RX350 is better than Honda CRV, price is about $18K more.

你对新款的F150想疯了，要想安全，加个4in lift kit，顺便改成35in 胎。

四驱和雪胎是key point，比较好的四驱有quattro, super handling all wheel drive, 4 matic, 4 motion, xdrive,，次一点的有什么intelligent awd，但都够用了，值得表扬的是SH AWD，Quattro，雪地里开是一种享受。

4W就买highlander吧，比CRV大多了。CRV就像个塑料玩具车，又轻又不扛撞。

I would not drive F150, I drove 2 American cars, and winter times they all gave me trouble in a winter time like this. The feeling was desperate when you spent that much money.  I am not going to give American car a chance... (because I had the comparison.)

The only situation that I would go with a F150, is that I were  an oil and gas driller, the company pays me $150 a day for trucking allowance. Then in about two years, the company pays it all...  That was why you see so many F150s on the road in Alberta.  Most of them are oil and gas specialists, they need trucks to work to qualify for the allowance.

I got two friends who picked MDX, almost $60K with all the options and features. Honestly $60K is not cheap. However, if you are financially sound, go for it and life is short. You do need to spoil yourself once with a nice car.  I don't like the new HONDA CRV's look at back. The front portion was OK. Budget wise, it is good, only $30K ~$35K.
