请教大家～在枫叶卡renew期间的事宜～～

各位XDJM～～～想请教大家个问题，我的PR卡过期了，需要Renew，听说现在放慢速度需要6个月时间才能收到新的PR card，

1 s( Y& l- t3 n/ {) x在这六个月内，如果面临找工作，怎么向employer证明自己PR的身份？有什么supporting嘛？是否合法工作？

另外在没有收到新PR card的情况下～我可否去美国或者阿根廷旅游，怎样入境加拿大？

旅游的事儿不清楚，找工作的话你不是有你SIN NUMBER么？没人会看你的枫叶卡吧，一般老外一辈子也没见过枫叶卡

PR Card只是一个travel document，和PR Status不一样。理论上你在加拿大境内，PR Card expire了都是可以的。

PR Card expire了，如果自己开车去美国，可以用Confirmation of PR (Landing paper)回来。去其他国家或者用commercial的交通工具就有去当地加拿大大使馆申请travel document才能回来

不过你有机票，证明你最近要离开加拿大，可以申请urgent processing. 这个挺快的。2周都有可能就处理好了

3）如果本人未入境加拿大，托人在加拿大境内寄PR card renew的材料，是否可以？会被CIC从出入境处查出来吗？

3）如果本人未入境加拿大，托人在加拿大境内寄PR card renew的材料，是否可以？会被CIC从出入境处查出来吗？

CIC不允许申请人在加拿大境外renew PR Card。不被发现则可以，不过CIC想查你很容易的。两点原因：

9 N4 e! R( M% q; |* H1.  如果CIC让你在local CIC office pickup PR Card （有10%的申请人会被要求在local CIC office取卡 － quality assurance purpose）, 一般CIC是寄信告诉你几号几点带上文件去拿的。到时候你怎么回来？申请travel document需要30天才能拿到，完全来不及
2.  CBSA过去是不记录出境的，不过现在已经改了。CBSA记录会显示你离开加拿大，没有入境记录，这个就可以直接证明你有misrepresentation. Misrepresentation可能丧失PR

Urgent processing 不只要travel plan, 需要有机票等证据。CIC的原文是这样:

最最最直接而简单的方式就是机票。

如果你过去5年内没注满2年，真的能够入境，那么就没问题。关键是CBSA的人在边境会问你非常多的问题。

你的很多问题我都提供CIC的原始链接了，其实把renew PR Card那个application package看一遍，特别是instruction guide看一遍，很多问题都可以解决。

根据你最后一个链接的pdf文件关于CBSA如何操作中的11.12: When a BSO is assessing the residency obligation, the period considered is limited to the five years immediately preceding the examination. Where persons have been permanent residents for less than five years, they must be able to comply with the residency obligation in respect of the five-year period immediately after becoming a permanent resident.

如果作为PR超过5年，是不是每次入境都需要保证过去5年内住满2年？

/ C# T, B( r* o$ q( B/ R比如成为PR后的5年中，前2年住满后回中国，然后在第5年结束前回加拿大renew PR card，renew后马上离开加拿大。如果第7年的时候再次入境，会被认为没有满足过去5年内住满2年？因为从第7年往回数5年，除了renew PR一小段时间，没有住够2年。会不会虽然pr card还在有效期内，但不让入甚至丧失PR资格？

( k0 [/ [0 q4 f, @" o虽然by book是这样操作，不过CBSA官员还是有一定的leeway 给你的。但是这个就是赌博了，而且赌得很大 (拿PR status来赌)。

支持的材料可以有很多种，比如你的NOA, 电话记录，银行卡记录，出入境记录等

# o1 Y1 H5 F: oIf your residential requirement can not be fulfilled until 2015, do not submit any application prior to that date! Any submission will be automatically rejected by CIC.

Thanks for your reply! If I did not meet the physical presence days requirement in five years, to say, I still need one month to meet that requirement, I enter into Canada prior to the expiration date of the PR card and lived one month after the expiration date, so now I meet the 2 years physical presence although it is one months after the PR card expiration date. Can I still renew the PR card?

Hi,

PR card is only a travel document and there is no direct links between your PR status and PR card. The same logic applies to your passport. I assume you are a Chinese citizen. If your Chinese passport is expired, does it mean that you lose your Chinese citizenship as well? No. And this is exactly the same as your PR card.

If you understand what I just said, you should know the answer: as long as you meet the residential requirement now, you can go ahead and start your PR Card renewal process.
