Two cutler –hammer advantage starters are doing the same thing:4 U( S$ v1 V2 A( G1 L
After start 2-3 times, they will quit working, if you toggle the start and stop buttons on DCS screen , you will get another 2-3 running before they quit working again.

. u3 t* y3 z) Q, E' N5 w% E/ ~We isolate the network control and use the local start and stop only, the problem remains.
. k0 }2 v6 y1 M% h OSwap one of the defective buckets with a good one, the new bucket works fine.

( e' `! h, K1 O2 ^1 X. zWhen the problem happened, we observed that the contactor has a pulling action but will not seal.
0 ^8 u2 Y' p# q$ T; |Use a terminating screw divers to push in the contactor, it will not seal either.
# j# n. I- Q/ o* KConfirm with TECH support this should be a problem with the control circuit board inside the advantage starter, we bought two new control circuit boards and replaced the old ones, the problem is still the same." G8 k# X8 M+ F3 ~0 g

They have a fork to pinch inside the two leads to make connection, it is not a good design at all. We soldered the connection and tried again.
& _4 P% X# {5 D$ W' `( \3 H It is getting better this time, we have 7-8 times of running before it quit working. 3 E w! v5 ]4 q: Z) U& C
1 Y8 h% K7 r/ t; z, ^The coil should be the problem, we ordered two of them. But it will take 5-6 weeks for us to get them.
