Job description:
" J: s0 l% u/ S" S/ P- Prepare and mix metalizing solutions according to formulas or specifications, k$ {" s, `8 L1 R5 V5 b
- Operate and control electroplating equipment to coat metal and other objects
! E4 |* u U$ G# ^9 S' x9 |; \- Operate hot-dip metal plating equipment to galvanize metal and other objects* ~6 c% A/ t- S+ D) q* b
- Tend automatic metal coating machine which conveys objects through series of cleaning, rinsing and plating solutions0 h& P$ v6 m0 Z3 ] S' \ C
- Operate spray equipment to build up worn or damaged parts or to bond protective or decorative coatings on metal objects
- [* E0 G; B7 v2 h- Check proper thickness of plating using micrometers, callipers or other devices
P- `' S( Z r. D e- Clean and prepare metal parts for coating- A9 a$ {! z+ G* c& G
- Tend ovens which cure metal coating
