The Chinese has a long history of using fire. They use the chopsticks to fetch the food when the food is cooked by fire. No matter Chinese or foreigners, they all marvel at the invention of Chopsticks, though nobody knows when it was invented and who invented it.

        China is an old country with history of dining with chopsticks more than 3,000 years, Chinese use the chopsticks as far back as the Spring and Autumn and the Warring States Periods. People used the lever principle ingeniously to make the two simple sticks,which become extension of the human fingers.The invention of the chopsticks is not only revolution of the Chinese cooking culture, but also the sign of a kind of civilization.

It is considered very irreverent to prick your chopsticks in rice because people do it for the death.
