烤蛋糕
INGREDIENTS:

• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none)
3 I- [5 f2 M7 x( \/ N• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour or all purpose flour (former is better)
5 X' E/ f* g4 F O) \- w• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

4 \" S) b+ x1 A" |% r$ f) SBeat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition. ! F% p9 n1 J: Y% P
Turn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. , I Y) Z, X( X- u9 G0 P* _& K
Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.# D& n! V! t+ D3 p- K4 Z, O

这是yellow cake,我最喜欢的,又简单。ingredients 我一般比较严格执行,否则变味,但是我通常要把糖的用量减至3/4到2/3,洋人用糖量太大,太甜了。但如果你认为cake mix的甜度适合你的口味,就用上述的量。
+ a7 ]& Y6 i6 [4 w' rbeating,要用mixer, 一般的$10左右的hand mixer 就可以。烤蛋糕,面包,或做土豆泥等都用得上。

检查是否烤熟的办法: 用牙签插一下cake中间,若没有什么粘在牙签上就熟了。 |
