CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

$ y3 A& W( Q5 ]· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

3 F, ~5 Y6 p  f; J& n· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

; m( p; ~% I1 j) ?9 B+ a7 O· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

% [6 b) N: S" q0 l+ Q. O( N% Z· Operate manual and automatic shifts

· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
' H* _! Q" J: vQualifications and Training Requirements

· Minimum 3 years experience
# R0 S& X: c9 v" g; V6 j
1 T# b, P; v9 [9 l& w% w$ ^1 `· Valid Class 1 license

9 `$ }; e+ t1 G" m5 ?4 S7 v5 S8 X· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

· Load securement certification
% j$ H5 [/ ~5 c
· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations
) Z/ H: }8 w& @' n) Q% Y  ?* a
· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

· Oversized loads experience is considered an asset
