there currently is a new java devleoper position avaiable in IBM calgary for maintaining existing system potentially on new projects.
0 y/ t/ n; p( J3 ^6 B  jthe position is a contract position for 3 to 6 month with good potential to extend it.

here's the short description of the position.
& f9 O0 ?  G& x  ]Work as part of the IBM team supporting our customer. Must be on site. There is no travel money available. 2 to 3 years experience in JAVA, J2EE, XML and DB2.
/ ~4 v( y1 W' w+ ^" p* RNice to have exposure to Main Frame and any financial system
Must be really good in communication within the team and with customer.
$ {! C6 ^6 D" ~% }% Z" Oif having experience of level 1/2 support, great.

the key word would be java/j2ee/jsp/struts/commication skill/customer facing/team work/problem solving/troubleshooting/....it's a maintenance position at this time, but have potential working on projects.
