CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

# {4 h* c' {$ y. E· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork
" Q* |8 G# J4 J) H  H. E
  O+ ]  w( W1 u+ b: b3 {& G· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

( x" l" y: Y# n. c0 \" z$ _* Z) W· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

6 _( ]; |9 V$ D; q: i/ h3 u· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

3 G1 E6 [8 b7 L· Operate manual and automatic shifts

· Secure loads safely
) z8 m2 Z- B+ `/ p
. b8 G5 d. C) Z+ \· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
; ?; [6 S' b8 P+ s' u3 Q2 CQualifications and Training Requirements
/ f0 o! i3 M$ K  a& N4 v
· Minimum 3 years experience

· Valid Class 1 license

· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

0 r5 ~; {4 h" k5 }" a! b1 b7 @& A· Load securement certification

· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

* |' H) M6 r8 h, o* b. t· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.
