Position Title: Volunteer Coordinator
/ F9 V  a( M& F4 z$ t0 bHours of Work: 17.5 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
-        submit information for community news
# T+ I: u7 g' g: S* }3 E-        provide volunteers to update membership database
-        recruiting, performing security and reference checks, providing orientation, supervising, referring and placing volunteers
  k% E6 r# G2 Z( n9 l9 W% X-        train volunteers for ISP and provide duties
-        train volunteers for Centre and provide duties
-        provide volunteers for various programs
4 n2 N* H5 k( S' z5 P8 S) ~1 H0 d-        coordinate, update Volunteer Manual
-        planning and coordinating Volunteer Appreciation
-        participate in ISP department and agency meetings/activities
3 [( L) v' ~/ j- x9 u" `/ G8 V-        participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to volunteer services
-        assist in writing ISP proposals and reports
. e& `3 p  [( L- x6 l+ m-        provide volunteers for Centre activities as needed
-        assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as needed
- Z* O2 D$ V4 m, U5 C! a7 q; x-        work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)
-        promoting volunteerism through various media including the 3 main Chinese newspapers, Chinese radio station and the Chinese television, Fairchild TV, brochures, pamphlets, booth displays, special events  
-        development and distribution of a volunteer manual  
-        planning and implementing training sessions for volunteers
-        planning and implementing training sessions for staff that work with volunteers
-        consulting and reporting to the Advisory Committee on a regular basis

-        demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre

-        degree or diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or related experience and education
-        good oral and written Chinese and English skills
-        experience in volunteer coordinating and immigrant services
% L" \, E+ X% Q( N! _-        leadership skills
-        management and supervision skills
-        exceptional communication, interpersonal skills

这个职位不是义工，而是义工统筹员，是有报酬的一个part time工作，而报酬的金额根据教育和经验程度而定。
