W3 dAlberta Transportation , Red Deer - Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager you will assist with program development within the region, by analyzing technical and socio-economic input related to provincial transportation projects and administer regional consultant assignments regarding geometric and safety assessments. You will also assist in the delivery of the department's transportation and utility grants, long range functional and network planning for the regional highway systems, and planning issues related to roadside development. You will provide professional technical advice and transportation engineering support to client municipalities as required. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.

2 z2 C3 \) c4 _Qualifications: BSc. in Civil Engineering with related civil or municipal engineering experience. Candidates with less experience may be considered at a lower salary level. Eligibility for membership in APEGGA is required. Note: This is a temporary position due to expire on or before August 31, 2005. Final candidates for this position will be asked to undergo a security screening. Salary: $55044 TO $76212 Closing Date: August 27, 2004.
