Description:  Sealy Corporation, through its subsidiaries, is the largest bedding manufacturer in North America and produces a diversified line of mattress and foundation products. Sealy's conventional bedding products (mattresses and foundations) include the Sealy, Sealy Posturepedic and Sealy Posturepedic Luxury Collection. Sealy, as distinguished from most of its competitors, also manufactures many of the important component parts that are used inside the mattress. Sealy owns and operates a component-manufacturing subsidiary, with three plants that produce virtually all of the company's proprietary and patented mattress innerspring requirements and approximately half of its foundation components. Sealy sells its products through more than 7,000 North American retail outlets, which include furniture stores, national merchandisers, specialty sleep shops, department stores and warehouse clubs. Sealy currently has a total of 31 manufacturing plants in North America, with three Canadian locations in Edmonton, Toronto and St. Narcisse, Quebec.

6 F5 o6 S% Z4 |) w. jDirectly supervising personnel in the production area to ensure that approved quality products are manufactured and/or delivered on schedule and within prescribed specifications and cost requirements, you will be responsible for maintaining high employee morale and positive relationships. Directing work groups or department staff, you will also select and train employees to produce at standard-and-above efficiency, as well as maintain quality standards. Our ideal candidate has the additional skills to recommend changes or improvement in methods, equipment, handling or layout, and to maintain the accuracy of required administrative reports and record keeping. The ability to teach/enforce safe work practices and good housekeeping procedures, as well as keep machines and/or equipment in good repair will also be required.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Three to five years of supervisory experience in a unionized manufacturing environment
Mechanical and mathematical skills sufficient for solving plant problems
7 {* U2 @% Z5 S- FThe necessary skills to develop, communicate and maintain positive interpersonal relationships with and among employees
Completion of high school and/or technical school
