Opening of Chinese Studentsand Scholars Club (CSSC)
Did you know that in 2007-08, 45% of MacEwan international
students come from China? During Chinese Lunar New Year in
February, 2008, MacEwan launched the Chinese Students and Scholars’
Club to promote inter-cultural communication and understanding,
and the well-being of the Chinese community at MacEwan. The
opening ceremony featured traditional Chinese food and Chinese
New Year celebrations. CSSC is a non-profit, non-political, social
organization of current and past Chinese students and scholars
